The house is almost done! Yea! I figured the timeing would be just about the time I have the baby. Oh well. If it weren't for having to stop and have a baby, we would probably have everything finished and moved in by the end of next week. But, happily, we will pause for a bit, and welcome our baby girl this week. I am currently scheduled to go in on Thurs, July 1st. I'm very ready, anxious, and nervous. Then, Travis gets to move us in without my help. I have confidence he will put everything exactly where I want it! ;-)

Here is a picture of Eston helping Travis with the stud finder on the wall. Travis taught him how to use it, and he enjoyed scooting it to find the studs. I see lots of father/son projects in their future. Lots of garage/shop time.

We took Eston to see Shrek 4 a few weeks ago. It was 3D so that's the reason for the glasses. He sat really still until the very very end when he had to go to the bathroom. He doesn't weigh much to hold the seat down from folding him up in it. So, if he wiggles at all, it starts to fold up.
Happy Birthday Eston! He turned 3 on May 22nd! My mom, he calls her Mimi, got him a motorized jeep. (She doesn't spoil him or anything!) He can drive it suprisingly well! I'm impressed.

Here's a shot of us on his birthday. Travis and I gave him Gordon, his favorite train on Thomas the Train. He's got it in both pictures.

This is at Mimi's house for his birthday. His uncle Corey and aunt Whitney got him a cake with Gordon on it too. He had Stratton and Tatum over for hot dogs and cake.

It has been a fast 3 years. I'm trying not to be biased, but people tell me he's really smart. He can spell his name, attempts to write it. (Looks pretty good...S is tricky he says.) He memorizes books and can "read" them back to me. If he sees someone's name, he recognizes it. Miss Lilly at daycare, said he can read all the other kids' names to her if she has them listed. He even knows the difference between two girls whose names are spelled Ashley and Ashlee. I can tell this kid's going to have a good memory. He remembers things that amaze me. He's very sensitive too. He offers me his hand and tries to help me up from a seated position. Tells me "It's okay" to various happenings. Opens the door for me. He has a touch of OCD too. He insists on doing the left foot or hand first. Such as putting shorts or shoes on. Left must go first. The dog leashes are different colors, and Alli always has to have the purple one and Zoe always has to have the blue one. Or it just sends his little world spinning if I do otherwise. He puts his crayons back in the box in order exactly like the picture on the outside. Things I never think about!
