It's a girl! We found out this morning! Here are a couple of pictures. This one is looking forward, face on the right. Feet to the left. Here is a profile shot. Same position as above. Face to right feet to left, looking upwards.
Baby measured about a week bigger than my due date. (July 17th) Eston measured the same way, I recall. So, will be ready early! Everything looked great. She was moving alot! Eston kept saying he thought it was a girl, and wanted a little sister. He was right!

We've had lots of snow this winter for our part of the world. It has snowed 4 times. Here are some pictures of Eston out in it. He enjoyed it much more this time around. He liked making holes in it with his feet when he walked. He even tried to throw some snowballs.

This next picture goes with a really sweet story. Or at least from his mama's point of view! Eston just moved up to the "big kid class" at his daycare. He has been very excited and wanted to move up for months. On the first Friday in his new class, he got to pick an item out of the treasure chest for being good all week. I knew nothing about this, since he did not have this opportunity in his younger classroom. When I walked in to pick him up that afternoon, one of his teachers said, "you need to see what Eston picked out of the treasure chest." He ran toward me and presented me with a ring and said, "I got this for you, mama." My heart melted. What a sweet boy! It was the first week of February, so I told him that was a wonderful Valentine's present. I've worn it a few times since then, and he is so proud.

Eston in the bathtub. I had to take a picture of all of his, mine, and Travis's drawings.

Eston is really into Thomas the Train now. He loves to watch Thomas movies and play with his train set. A few weeks ago, he and Sam Traxson spent several hours contently playing with Sam's trains. They played so well together and Mitzi and I hardly heard a peep from them from the other room. That was especially good since Eston always wants to be right beside me or Travis at home. He also won't sleep in his bed by himself. He has been waking up several times during the night and either yells out for us or comes in our room to get us. He won't let me leave the room he is in at home either. He'll just follow me around if I'm putting up laundry or whatever. He does just fine when I leave him at daycare though. No separation anxiety there!
